Well it looks like Ike is coming right for us. So we spent the evening getting ready for the worst. Luckily the area we are in doesn't flood too bad so we hope to weather storm out at home. We just keep watching and praying Ike weakens or at least doesn't get too much stronger.
if it keeps on this path we will be on the right side which is not good.

dang! I wiah I were there. sad hu? I love storms, as long as i am not right on the coast. I think it's fun to stay indoors with candles and lamps and play games. haha!
Don't put him in Camo! I was practically sleeping in bright neon orange during hurricane and tornado season in texas!
Make sure you're 3 day kits are handy too!
I hid in the bathtub with a fouton over my head for about an hour once. It sucked, especially since the tornado was spotted on its way out of town, but better safe than sorry! : )
Good luck. I think it makes it worse being a parent. Good job being prepared though. I hope it misses you guys! We had a crazy wind storm the other day, but the worst it did was knock over our grill:)
