EASTER 2010

Time fly's when you're having fun! I can't believe it's already Easter.

We drove up to Dale on Saturday and surprised Helen and the Great Grandparents for an early Easter present. We spent most of the afternoon helping around the place getting it ready for the big lunch on Sunday. Matthew had a blast helping to clean the swings with Grandma Helen and Mow the lawn with me on the riding lawn mower.

On Sunday we woke up early and attended a wonderful Easter church service at the Great Grandparents Church. It was raining most of the morning so we just hung out inside but lucky for us, right about 1pm the sun peaked out and dried everything up just in time for lunch and the Easter egg hunt. One of Lei's cousins, Will, brought along his Girlfriend who has a 4 year old daughter named Ashley. Matthew was so excited to have a Friend to play with. They had fun helping each other out during the hunt. Because she is so much older than Matthew and we figured she could probably find most of the eggs faster than Matty, We divided the eggs up into Boy and Girl Eggs. Matthew could only find Blue and Green eggs, where Ashley could only find Pink and Purple. Surprisingly it worked very well and they even helped each other out.

Rodeo 2010

We finally got to take Matthew to the Rodeo this past weekend. We tried earlier in the week but with over 2 million people visiting it within 3 weeks this year, traffic and parking was horrendous. Matthew had a blast with the animals but the highlight for him this year was the pony ride. He felt like such a big boy riding by himself and he didn't fuss too bad when he had to get off. he mostly got frustrated because they kept stopping so they could take photos of the other kids. we wish he could have gone again but after standing in like for about a half hour and paying 6 bucks for the first ride, He'll just have to wait till next year.

It's A Boy!!

We took Lei yesterday to get a Sonogram to make sure everything was OK with the baby after the accident. Thankfully everything just fine which was a relief. And we were able to find out that we are having another boy! We are so excited to have another boy and give Matthew a Lil brother to play with. Matthew thought the sonogram was "amazing" for about 5 seconds, after which he proceeded to climb up on the chair to look out the window. ooh boy.

Our poor sentra was rear-ended while Lei stopped at a red light. To make matters worse, the other driver is claiming that Lei reversed into her! Sadly the car that was stopped next to her at the light didn't stick around to be a witness. Gladly, other than a sore neck, Leilani is OK. The bumber on the sentra, not so well.

This all happened yesterday 3/16, at about 12:30pm . I filed claims with our insurance, Geico and the other vehicles insurance, Farmers ins, that same afternoon. By this morning Geico had already taken recorded statements from both drivers and made their liability decision that we is Not At Fault. Farmers, on the other hand has yet to even assign a liability adjuster. Just another reason why we insure with the Gecko

5 1/2 months to go

**POST EDIT: Apparently it needs to be clarified that it is 5 months to go, not 5 children to go. (That was an overwhelming thought first thing this morning.) I am SO excited to be having another baby, and I can't wait to find out whether I am having a boy or girl at the end of the month. The pregnancy is going really well and we will keep everyone updated with lots of pictures I'm sure. I will try and write some posts as well with lots (or some) pregnancy details. -Leilani**
